• तटीय मैदान भी एक महत्वपूर्ण मछली पकड़ने का क्षेत्र है, जिसमें कोच्चि, मैंगलोर और विशाखापत्तनम जैसे प्रमुख मछली पकड़ने के बंदरगाहों के साथ यहां स्थित है।
